Joe Esparza
Joe and his wife and business partner, Ris, started Leadership Outfitters, a Bozeman, Montana based company, 20 years ago to provide life-altering personal leadership development through coaching, retreats, and teamwork. Their unique development company serves clients who are seeking to understand their habits that hinder and create a more powerful version of themselves. Leadership Outfitters works throughout North America with clients which include MillerCoors, Kraft Foods USA and Canada, Capital One, Albertsons, FINRA, Wells Fargo, Chevron-Texaco, BP, and Heineken USA and the Caribbean.
Joe started his career with Seven-Eleven, managing 62 stores in Seattle. He continued developing managers at Miller Brewing Company, now MillerCoors, where he was responsible for the training and development of Miller distributors throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. He has been coaching and developing executives for over 15 years. Joe is not only a veteran of the corporate trenches, he's a natural leader. Throughout his life, Joe has held the position of president or vice-president in nine businesses, organizations, and boards of directors. He has strength in helping leaders connect, motivate, lead, and inspire their teams. His clients appreciate his straightforward, no nonsense style. In addition, Joe has authored articles on selling, leadership, and coaching, and has served as a co-host for a monthly radio show on leadership.
As an active coach since 1995, Joe's coaching focuses on real life application: achieving breakthroughs, getting results, and moving things ahead. Since 1992, Joe has run a successful coaching and consulting company and worked with executives in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Joe's speciality is in working with individual leaders and their teams. His skills help them develop an environment of trust creating the opportunity for high performing work teams to come together. He is also noted for the work he does on developing emotional intelligence with his coaching clients. Joe goes beyond just helping people with business. He also helps his clients to integrate success practices in their personal lives as well.
Joe received his degree from Washington State University-Bachelor of Arts. In 2001, he graduated from a three-year professional development program on Coaching and Leadership offered by the Center for Authentic Leadership in Atlanta. He is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Emotional Intelligence Alliance.
Joe enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid horseman, hunting on horseback and trail riding. He also is a passionate bow hunter and equally enjoys spending time on the waters of Montana fly fishing.
