We feature our Power of Choice retreats at spectacular ranches in Montana.
Madison River Ranch
The Madison Valley Ranch, located in the heart of southwestern Montana, is just a cast away from some of the best fishing Montana has to offer. The Ranch sits in the Madison Valley, three miles north of Ennis, Montana. A short walk out the back door of the ranch will find you casting to rising fish in the famous "Channels" section of the Madison River, a section of the river that is known for its high population of fish and easy wading access.
The Ranch is an ORVIS endorsed fly fishing lodge, meaning that it is one of the best of the best! The property is nestled in a pristine area with dramatic mountain views with wildlife abounding. Memorable meals and well-appointed rooms ensure a luxury fly fishing experience. The property’s three fishing venues--the Madison River, Jack Creek, and our private Jurassic Pond--make it hard to resist wetting a line! The Ranch is the perfect spot to host one of our retreats where clients reveal their own insights, develop a keen understanding of themselves and their leadership, and recharge their selves. 2011 marks our first year in offering our Power of Choice Retreat at this special Ranch where we use fly fishing to help you learn more about yourself and your leadership.
Fort Ellis Ranch
This is our home ranch of 320 acres surrounded by magnificent views of four mountain ranges outside Bozeman, Montana. As you enter you can literally feel the responsibility that can weigh us down be lifted away. You will find yourself going back to a time that was less complicated and slower paced. The farmhouse, outbuildings, grain silos and well-established trees take you to a simpler time, a feeling that will grow with you each day you spend here.
This is home for our herd of seven horses who always work with us during our retreats, and often the equine experiential learning extends to other programs taking place on the ranch.
Our participants have confirmed that the work they do is even more powerful when done in a peaceful environment, where the beauty of nature heightens the awareness they are discovering. The Fort Ellis Ranch does just that. We feature a welcoming conference room with 10-foot deep porches where you can watch elk and coyotes, listen to owls hooting each evening, or count the shooting stars in the Milky Way. Our chef provides mouth-watering meals, and our participants always ask for the s'mores basket when sitting by the campfire watching the sunset. This is a perfect place to go within.
White Stallion Ranch
When the snow swirls in Montana, we head for the sunny White Stallion Ranch outside Tucson, Arizona. This family owned dude ranch is 3,000 acres and borders Saguaro National Monument which has over 71,000 acres of desert terrain and over 150 miles of hiking and riding trails. Since this world-class dude ranch features over 100 great horses, we offer a trail ride into the desert during one of the days of our retreat and do our development work at a peaceful desert camp surrounded by saguaro and mountains. Although our program is four days long, many of our participants like to add a day so they can spend more time riding and absorb what they have learned.
You'll feel a part of the White Stallion family and right at home with the easygoing, friendly atmosphere of this beautiful ranch. The cantina features yummy meals that you can eat outside in a tree-covered patio next to the soothing sounds of a fountain. Each room offers a small patio for relaxing and enjoying the spectacular desert sunsets. During the evenings, the White Stallion offers programs about native wildlife and the unique desert environment. In the evening you may also choose to take a dip in the pool or simply relax and enjoy this magnificent setting. Learn more about the White Stallion Ranch at www.wsranch.com.
